E'dek Rason

When everything was taken from him, E'dek had nothing else to cherish save his own life. He had no way of knowing the ones that betrayed him would give him back more than he could have hoped for.

E'dek Rason (Advisor and Ambassador) - Once the proud son of a royal line E'dek watched as his life was torn apart and family destroyed by the greed of one he called uncle. E'dek has spent the last 20 years deep in the forest hiding from those who thought him dead. After 20 long years, a descendent of the very man that took everything from him gave him new purpose. E'dek is now ambassador and diplomat for Silent Resurrection. His keen understanding of politics and the hardships of the citizens make him a perfect fit as the heart and voice of the organization.

In his free time, E'dek likes to read. History and politics are his preferred genera. When not reading, he will spend time honing his survival skills. Not known for his marksmanship, E'dek is just happy if he can get through a training without having to wait ages for Tat to stop laughing at his many misses.

E'dek is known by many to be kind, patient, resolute and a strong leader. E'dek has a fear of heights and the ocean.

E'dek Rason was born into the Rason royal line. As prince, he was next in line for the throne. That was until the betrayal by his fathers most trusted advisor, general and friend. K'azak Ryder took everything from E'dek when he was only 11 years old. Executing his mother and father as well as his baby brother, E'dek would survive by the courage and life of a woman he only met once.

Spending the next 20 years in the great forest, hiding from those that would finish what they started, E'dek created the alter identity of D'evik Tia and lived a simple life in a small village. Careful never to let anyone know who he really was. Together with his closest friends, T'atoa, Ash, Jiji, and Zeke he would work to forget what he once held dear and forge a new life.

E'dek has no living relatives. When he was eleven years old, his mother, Queen E'pherye Rason, Father, King E'noro Rason and brother, Prince E'sco Rason were executed during a coupe that overthrew his line and plunged the once peaceful country into tyranny and chaos.

After almost 20 years, E'dek would discover that he was not the only survivor of the treachery. His brother E'sco was alive and in Eorzea. E'dek will do anything, brave anything to be reunited with him.

Before Silent Resurrection, E'dek did not have a formal occupation. He could be seen doing odd jobs, usually farming or handyman work in order to make coin for travel and food. He once, forced by necessity, danced for the Beehive but prefers not to talk about that too much.

E'dek excels in negation, psychology, trauma management and debate. He is an exceptional mediator and diplomat. Should the need arise, E'dek is skilled in magics but abhors violence and would prefer to talk things over if the opportunity afforded it.
